Join us on July 27th as Edutainment for Equity hosts an interactive exhibition with live performances at The Oakland Museum of California consisting of visual art, community workshops, live music and a public dialogue all focusing on the future of Black life in Oakland –  with an emphasis on health, community building and policy creation. The event will feature both indoor and outdoor activities and will take place from 1-4 pm.

  • Exhibit A: Oakland is an interactive data exhibition and multi modal media project highlighting systemic antiblack outcomes in the city. Working in partnership with the Department of Race and Equity in Oakland, and a host of community partners, Exhibit A illustrates the deep antiblack outcomes produced in the Race and Equity Indicators Report and other related data sources. Exhibit A features interactive visualizations created by a group of artists, that include digital interfaces, AR experiences, and provocative imagery. Additional aspects include original songs, short films, photographs and interactive workshops, designed to prompt imagination about the future of Oakland.
